Building Ingenuity Awarded with Contract for Summit Aerospace Expansion

We’re excited to announce that Building Ingenuity has been awarded the contract to design a 40,000-square-foot expansion for Summit Aerospace, Inc.

This expansion will add to the Summit Aerospace facilities to a total of 188,132 square-foot operation.

Summit Aerospace, based in Medley, FL, is an integrated supplier covering all component maintenance, repair and overhaul needs of major commercial, military, and many regional aircraft clients worldwide. 

The planned expansion of the headquarters facilities will go towards consolidating and expanding Avionics, Electro-mechanical, Pneumatics, Hydraulic, Fuel and Harness shop operations and Test Cells in the company’s Miami facility. This consolidation will improve efficiency of operations and allow for future expansion as the company grows. 

The expansion will take over adjacent tenant space in the same building now occupied by the headquarters. The design of the additional space will improve worker productivity and serve as an example of state-of-the-art repair and overhaul operations and execution for the aerospace industry.
